A total of 85 swimmers took part on Sunday of the 1st edition of the SwimBarcelona Sant Silvestre swim, where we were able to enjoy an excellent and Christmassy open water swimming day.

With distances of 1.000, 1.500 and 2.500 m, the swim was held according to the plan and the swim addicts counted with the support of the SUP Barcelona paddle surfers. 

The sea temperature was 17 °C but the radiant sun that shone throughout the morning helped to make the cold more tolerable. The warm Christmas Aneto broth that was waiting for the swimmers on the arrival also contributed a lot.

More than 70 swim addicts gathered on Sunday morning at the Bernat Picornell swimming pools to celebrate the 2nd edition of the 100x100 m with Neda el Món!

Many thanks to all participants and very special thanks for your contribution to the Food Bank. We delivered more than 50 kg of product on Monday and soon will have the certification to show you on our Facebook page.

If you are still not registered for the 100 x 100 m with Neda el Món at the Bernat Picornell Swimming Pools, don't take too long to sign in because there are very few places available!

It will take place on Sunday, December 21st. 100 series of 100 meters to bid farewell to the year in good company and enjoy an intense workout in the swimming pool.

The series will be made in blocks of 25. Of course it will not be required to complete all four blocks of 25 series. You can make 1, 2, 3 or 4 blocks.

• Amuse and entertain children during the swim
• Provide environmental education through Droppy, its adventures and concern for pollution and waste
• Recognize some organisms that we find in the sea, know their habitat and the marine environment
