Over 50 swim addicts have met this morning at the Bernat Picornell Swimming Pools to close the year with 100 sets of 100 meters!

In a relaxed and festive atmosphere, the swim addicts have motivated each other to complete the total 10,000 meters, which were divided into 4 blocks of 25x100m each. A large swimming pool training  to close a great open water season!

Neda World continues promoting its charitable side, keeping its position in 2013 as the open water swims organization which contributed more money to charitable causes. And this was thanks especially to our flagship event, the L'Estartit - Medes Islands crossing which will allocate 100% of its profits to the TV3 Marathon and more specifically to the study and research of neurodegenerative diseases.

Sunday, during the TV3 Marathon show, we will deposit € 3428 thanks mainly to the involvement of hundreds of swim addicts who came to the 4th edition of the crossing, and thanks also to the four entities from L'Estartit that are involved: City of Torroella Montgri, Estartit Yacht Club, the Natural Park of L'Estartit and Medes and the Nautical Estartit Medes.

Many thanks to you all! We are very proud to contribute our little grain of sand in the investigation of neurodegenerative diseases!

The swimmer María Peláez, 5 times Olympic between 1992 and 2008 and currently founder of EnPiscina2, is the new member of the Neda Món team!

Specialist in the study and detailed technical analysis of the swimmers, as well as technification for swim coaches, she joins our team to manage the area in and around Madrid.

One of Maria's first tasks will be closing an Open Water Clinic in Madrid that will be held over the coming months.

Due to the coincidence with the CE Mediterrani 120 x 100 series, and not to interfere with the event of such an historic club of Barcelona, which is also friend of us, we have moved the activity to December, Saturday 21st, with 100 series of 100m, at the Bernat Picornell Swimming Pools.
