The small town of Combarro, in Pontevedra, welcomed with open arms the first Swim the World event in Galicia: the Combarro · Tambo Island swim.

The crossing, non-competitive amb with distances of 3,500 m and 5,000 m, was attended by nearly 100 swim addicts from around the world (Spain, Portugal, England, Brazil, ...) willing to reach by swimming the beautiful Tambo Island.

The morning was misty rose (this is Galicia, gentlemen) but soon the visibility improved and the whole team, participants and onlookers could enjoy an excellent day of sun and open waters.
