On May 7th, three determined swimaddicts from Neda el Món successfully conquered the waters separating Europe and Africa, completing the Strait of Gibraltar crossing in 5 hours and 1 minute, covering 15.1 km from Tarifa to Punta Cires (Morocco) with an average water temperature of 17.2°C.

Boris Aleksandroviç Najafov (Azerbaijan) completed the swim without a wetsuit. Stefan Silberberg (Germany) and Miguel Martínez Basurco (Spain) completed the crossing with wetsuit.
