No spots available to cross the Strait of Bonifacio with Neda el Món in 2024! Next year we will be 25 swim addicts to cross from Corsica to Serdinia! But you are still on time to cross from Europe to Asia!. Do you want to swim from Greece to Turkey? Then Rhodes - Marmaris challenge is your next goal. 18km right on the border of the Mediterranean Sea and the Aegean Sea with an exceptionally spectacular start and finish.
And as with the Strait of Gibraltar, Neda el Món offers the swimmer all its knowledge about the great crossings in open water and takes care of everything: advising the swimmer, planning the training 6 months before the challenge, monitoring these trainings, including one session per month face to face in Barcelona, and all the logistics and operationals during the week of the event in Rhodes (Greece).
Here you have all the info.

Spectacular experience this season at Rhodes Marmaris. A great experience with the swim addicts, with the local skippers, with the local suppliers and with the local authorities. We felt very welcome and were able to enjoy like a real family the swim addiction and the spectacular places of Rhodes Island. As always, when it's your first time, you never know what you might find. We all enjoyed together and learned a lot about the people, the winds, the currents, the Aegean Sea.
There were 14 swim addicts who trusted in Neda el Món to cross from Europe to Asia, from Greece to Turkey, for the first time. We present them here, where you will be able to find the times, routes, direction of the swim... all the details of their spectacular crossing.
Next year, more and better in the Rhodes Marmaris!
11/5/2023
This 2023 has been the second year that Neda el Món has accompanied swim addicts to cross the Strait of Bonifacio. In 2 years, 33 swim addicts have already crossed between Corsica and Sardinia with us. In fact, 33 swimmers out of 33 attempted: 100% efficiency! Work well done pays off and the programme prepared by Neda el Món 6 months before the crossing is a guarantee for swimmers of all levels, from the fastest to the slowest. Also the fact that, differently than in Gibraltar, all the groups can cross on the same day, means that from the week we are in Santa Teresa di Gallura (Sardinia), we only need one day of good weather for all the swimmers to achieve their challenge. For 2024 we only have 3 places left!
You can check the info about the challenge here, and the historical ranking of the challenge until today here.

Nothing is impossible with Neda el Món. Everything is possible with Neda el Món! The most impressive swimming challenge in Catalonia is sorround the Cap de Creus. 28,5 kilometers within a Natural Park of extraordinary beauty. A challenge with capital letters that with Neda the Món will be easier.
Solo, or in groups of 2, or in groups of 4, or by relays of 2 or relays of 4. Each swimmer solo, or each group, whether relay or not, will have a motor boat that will support him/them throughout the journey.
Leaving the magnificent fishing village of Port de la Selva, during the swim you can enjoy spectacular landscapes such as the bay of Cadaqués, Cap Norfeu and the bay of Roses.
Here you have all the info.

Spectacular week of addiction in Croatia and Montenegro. As part of the SwimHolidays Dubrovnik, with a group of 10 Nedadicts from Geieg Girona, we visited Kotor, Perast, Stone and Dubrovnik, in addition to swimming the always spectacular islands of the Croatian coast, such as Koloceb and Lokrum.
Even though the weather was not good the first few days, we managed to swim about 11,000 meters for the last 3 ten days. How we like to work for addicts!
Next year, SwimHolidays Dubrovnik from June 21 to 24. You have all the information here.
10/19/2023
We already have the calendar closed for the Neda el Món 2024 season. With more enthusiasm than ever and with the support as always from ZOGGS and HEAD, we will repeat one more year with Medes, Dubrovnik, Maddalena, Gibraltar, Bonifacio, Rhodes-Marmaris and Cap de Creus. You can see the full program here.
Looking forward to seeing you again, swim addicts! In 2024, more and better!

Alain Simac was unable to complete the Rhodes Marmaris in his first attempt as he felt unwell on Sunday 8 October. But Alain didn't give up, and neither does Neda el Món! In the next break that the weather gave us, on Wednesday 11 October, Alain tried again, this time in the opposite direction, from Rhodes (Greece) to Marmaris (Turkey).
The currents were more favourable on this side of the crossing and Alain made a fantastic time, 6 hours 41 minutes, and without a wetsuit! Alain already holds the record for crossing from Europe to Asia without a wetsuit. Congratulations Alain!
If you want to be the next to participate in this wonderful crossing, don't think about it: book yourself from 5 to 13 October next year and register here.

They have done it again! All our groups crossed on Sunday, October 8, from Asia to Europe, from Turkey to Greece, from Marmaris to Rhodes. In total there were 13 swimmers who completed the challenge!
Our first group was Oceanos, with Núria Soriano, Josep Sanchez, Marc Grau and Jorge Perez from Spain and Benoit Lamour from France, with a time of 6 hours and 13 minutes. Subsequently, the Alia team, formed by Nicolas Felger (France) and Brian Lasky (USA, and without neoprene), completed the crossing in 7 hours and 54 minutes. Isabelle Van Passel (Belgium) and Bryan Main (USA, also without wetsuit) were part of the Allotria team, and they did it in 8 hours and 40 minutes. Finally, our last group, made up of Yana Lahvinenko (Ukraine, without wetsuit), Josep Llobet (Spain), Jean Bernard Esperance (France) and Albert Samper (Spain), crossed the finish line in 9 hours and 21 minutes, already late Rhodes night.
All groups left the Turkish island of Kizilada and arrived at Windy beach in Rhodes. During the journey, the Nedaddicts encountered winds from East to West, which diverted them on their path, and winds from South to North, which delayed them at times. Finally, in the second half of the journey, they were favored by the northwest winds, which allowed them to correct their trajectory and arrive victorious in Rhodes.
Next year, more and better at Rhodes-Marmaris. We already have the dates closed and you have all the information here.

After 16 of 16 nedaddicts on September 25 in the Strait of Bonifacio, on Tuesday the 26th two other nedaddicts, François Peyrot (France) and Marc Caballé (Spain, and founder and CEO of Neda el Món) also achieved the challenge.
In both cases, the swimmers had to overcome large currents against them in the last kilometer and a half, having to invest more than an hour to complete this small distance. François needed 5 hours and 5 minutes to complete 18.1km and Marc 6 hours and 15 minutes to complete 18.7km. They also both ended up in Capo Testa, in this case on the west side.
Congratulations Nedaddicts!

Neda el Món continues with the same dynamics as last year and repeats 100% of the swimmers who manage to cross the Strait of Bonifacio between France and Italy! All the swimmers have completed the training and this has meant that they arrived in Bonifacio prepared to achieve the challenge in the best possible way. With a time of 5 hours and 15 minutes on average!
September 25th started early. At 8:02 we begin the crossing towards Sardinia. We left Capo Pertustato (Corsica) and headed towards Capo Testa. The groups were Tiburon, Limoges, Artem and Baltics. The first group was made up of Davide Tamborrini (Italy, the only one without a wetsuit), Pau Domeq (Spain), Paulo Torres (Portugal) and Raul Torres (Spain). This group managed to cross in 5 hours and 4 minutes. On the other hand, the Limoges group where we found people from Spain like Gabriel Trenzado, Miguel Bravo, Hector Quero and Juan Ramón Llorente and the Frenchman Richard Dacoury, managed to cross the strait in 5 hours and 23 minutes! The Artem group, made up entirely of Ukrainians Angelina Lypinska, Roman Domin, Yarolsav Ramonshko, Artem Panchenko and Sergii Matus, crossed in just 5 hours and 33 minutes. And the Baltic group, with Alejandrina Til (Russia) and Justas Narkevicius (Lithuania), achieved a time of 5 hours and 48 minutes for the Russian swimmer and just one minute later for the Lithuanian swimmer.
The 4 groups reached very similar times between them, and this is the result of the great coordination work of Neda el Món. But it is also part of the pre-crossing preparation of all swimmers from their own countries. Congratulations to all!!
Thank Lo Squalo Bianco, our motorboat supplier, for his excellent work. Grazie mille Lo Squalo Bianco!

On Monday 11th September the 4th group of Neda el Món crossed the Strait of Gibraltar. 4 out of 4 this year! 16 swimmers have fulfilled their dream with Neda el Món this year!
And this time, Omar Kadiri (Morocco), Brice Tranie (France), Caitlin O'Reilly (New Zealand) and Anthony Jowers (United Kingdom) did it in 6 hours and 4 minutes and swimming among dolphins! Omar, Brice and Caitlin did it without wetsuit.
The crossing was an exhibition of companionship from Brice, Caitlin and Anthony, who were all the time helping Omar to achieve the challenge together. Congratulations to all 4 of you and a pleasure to accompany you on this wonderful journey.
9/7/2023
After the crossing of the second group on Monday 4th September, on Tuesday 5th it was the turn of Alexander Malinin (Russia), Boris Najafov (Azerbaijan), Jaume Bombi (Spain) and Igor Rachkov (Russia). They had an incredible performance, given that the sea currents were not very favourable. All the time they kept the group compact, the result of the previous work during the whole year attending the training sessions held in Barcelona.
They reached a total time of 4 hours and 40 minutes and a total distance of 16.20 km. They were together all the time and enjoyed the crossing like never before!
Congratulations guys! And get ready for the next challenge of your life!
9/6/2023
After our first group crossed the Strait of Gibraltar in July, on Monday 4th September our second group of 4 swim addicts, Damien Catani (France), Alain Simac (France), Diego Cantillo (Costa Rica) and Madi Adilkhanov (Kazakhstan) did a spectacular job crossing the Strait of Gibraltar in less than 4h 33 minutes: total madness!
The four swimmers behaved as a team at all times, helping each other when one of them had a bad time.
The conditions were quite favourable, with currents allowing them to swim in a straight line from Tarifa Island to Punta Cires, a total of 15.2 km.
8/30/2023
We debuted our brand-new Neda el Món experience between August 18 and August 25. We created a customized Open Water Stage based on the preferences provided by the swimmers, which included pool sessions with a variety of coaches and open sea sessions over various stretches of the Catalan coastline.
A wonderful experience for both the organization and the swimmers. Simply send an email to info@nedaelmon.com if you'd like to participate in this learning opportunity, and we'll create a stage specifically for you according to the number of days and swimmers that are available.
We're looking forward to experiencing more stages like the ones we've lately experienced!

The sea is capricious. Jellyfish and currents don't warn, they just appear! This is what happened on the 8th of August during the attempt of Yana Lohvinenko, a Ukrainian swim addict more than prepared, to reach the Cap de Creus challenge: swimming from Port de la Selva to Roses. An unexpected and very strong current against from Cap de Creus to Cadaqués made Yana's dream impossible.
Nada el Món, with Yana's own approval, activated plan B and the challenge was completed in Cadaqués, specifically at Llaner Gran beach. From Port de la Selva to Cadaqués, 19.8km completed after 10 hours and 19 minutes swimming like a true heroine.
Yana has been an example before, during and after the swim, congratulations champion!
8/7/2023
Last Tuesday 1st of August, 3 of our amazing swimmers, V Emma Vockins (Reading, UK), Pere Dalmau (Mataró) and Jeremías Mateo (Granollers), swam from Mallorca to Menorca. No more and no less than 37.8km. And in a great time: 12 hours and 24 minutes. Spectacular!
Although it was initially planned to make the journey from Menorca to Mallorca, the weather conditions made it advisable to make the attempt the other way round: from Cap des Freu (in Mallorca) to Far d'Andrutx (in Menorca), from 7.32am to 7.56pm. More than half a day swimming to fulfil their dream. Proud to work for you, a lesson in swim addiction! Congratulations our friends!
7/25/2023
On July 15 and 16, we held the 3rd training camp for the swimmers who have registered for the crossings with Neda el Món. On Saturday we ran a session of almost 4km in the El Masnou Yacht Club swimming pool, and on Sunday we did a 15km sea training between Santa Susana and Arenys de Mar, previously transferring all the swimmers, kayakers and organization by train from Arenys to Santa Susana. It was a very hard training, but we already have our swimmers ready for their challenges in 2023. Ready to go!!
We no longer have places for Gibraltar, nor for Menorca Mallorca, nor for Cap de Creus, but we still have 1 registration available for Bonifacio and 1 for Rhodes Marmaris. These two challenges provide a spot for Gibraltar 2024!
7/12/2023
Fantastic atmosphere and fantastic experience for swimmers, companions and organizers of the 1st edition of SwimHolidays Split. They were 4 unforgettable days, where as always we mixed swimming (11.4km swam in 4 days), culture, leisure and gastronomy.
Despite the rain on one of the days, the flexibility of both the participants and the organizers made it possible to visit the Krka Natural Park, only 15km from Sibenik, as a plan B. The weather allowed us the rest of the days to swim around 4 spectacular islands, located in front of Split, Trogir and Sibenik.
In October we return to Croatia, in this case Dubrovnik, for the second edition of SwimHolidays Dubrovnik. And already thinking about the destinations of SwimHolidays 2024... Sardinia, Malta... Can't wait!
7/11/2023
Impressive! Last July 4, the first Neda el Món group to cross the Strait of Gibraltar this year 2023 succeeded! And they did it with a spectacular time of 4 hours and 23 minutes. The group consisting of Ibrahim Slaoui (Morocco), Yana Lohvinenko (Ukraine, the first Ukrainian woman to overcome the challenge), Srikaanth Viswanathan (India, father of Kavya) and Kavya Srikanth (India, daughter of Srikaanth) swam across the Straits of Gibraltar, connecting Tarifa with Delia Beach in Morocco. And all without wetsuit!
This is the first of 5 groups that will cross the Strait of Gibraltar with us this year. Next September, 4 more groups! If you want to do it with us, there are still 2 places left! You have all the info here.
6/7/2023

It's been many years since Neda el Món and Jonathan Gómez have gone hand in hand. And so it continues to be. Last week we made the technical visit to Menorca and Mallorca to close all the preparations for the Menorca - Mallorca Channel.
The Menorca - Mallorca Channel is the most extreme challenge of Neda el Món: to cross the 37 km that separate the island of Menorca from the island of Mallorca, the 37 km that separate Cap d'Andrutx (in Menorca) and Cala Fumada (in Mallorca). A challenge with capital letters that with Neda the Món will be easier. And it will be easier because Neda el Món puts all its means to make it: training planning during the previous 5 months, training sessions in Barcelona once a month and all the logistics to support the swimmer during the challenge. Solo, or in groups of 2, or in groups of 4, or by relays of 2 or relays of 4.
Here you have all the info.

Only 3 weeks to register to the Neda el Món Illes Medes per la Marató de TV3 by ZOGGS that we will run on the 7th May. Medes is a unique and very special open waters event. Very special for two reasons: because it is the only solidarity open waters event from Catalonia which destinates 100% of the benefits to the TV3 Marathon, and because it takes place at the Medes Islands Natural Park, a superlative natural environment.
From year 2022 onwards, Neda el Món transformed this open waters competition into a great event: You will be able to choose the length of the crossing according to your swimming possibilities, there will be a crossing for kids, the best brands will be displayed and a meet-and-greet with the best swimmers.
Here you have all the info.

Only 4 spots left for Rhodes- Marmaris! The first edition of the Rhodes-Marmaris 2023 will be a qualifier, just like Bonifacio 2023, to participate in the Strait of Gibraltar in 2024. As you know, the Rhodes - Marmaris is the Neda el Món challenge from Greece to Turkey, from Europe to Asia that we are preparing for next October 2023.
There's still time to sign up here.
