The Neda el Món Medes Islands crossing, for the TV3 Marathon, by ZOGGS, is a unique and very special open waters event. Very special for two reasons: because it is the only solidarity open waters event from Catalonia which destinates 100% of the benefits to the TV3 Marathon, and because it takes place at the Medes Islands Natural Park, a superlative natural environment.
From this year 2022 onwards, Neda el Món is going to transform this open waters competition into a great event: You will be able to choose the length of the crossing according to your swimming possibilities, there will be a crossing for kids, there will be an attendance briefing, the best marks will be displayed, music, DJ, entertainments for the kiddies, a meet-and-greet with the best swimmers, and we will finish with a paella.
Here you have all the info.
Nothing is impossible with Neda el Món. Everything is possible with Neda el Món!
The most impressive swimming challenge in Catalonia is sorround the Cap de Creus. 30 kilometers within a Natural Park of extraordinary beauty. A challenge with capital letters that with Neda the Món will be easier. And it will be easier because Neda el Món puts all its means to make it: training planning during the previous 6 months, training sessions in Barcelona once a month and all the logistics to support the swimmer during the challenge.
Solo, or in groups of 2, or in groups of 4, or by relays of 2 or relays of 4. Each swimmer solo, or each group, whether relay or not, will have a motor boat that will support him/them throughout the journey.
Leaving the magnificent fishing village of Port de la Selva, during the swim you can enjoy spectacular landscapes such as the bay of Cadaqués, Cap Norfeu and the bay of Roses.
Here you have all the info.
Here you have the 2022 Neda el Món calendar. With more enthusiasm than ever and with the support as always of ZOGGS and HEAD. Looking forward to seeing you again in 2022! Next season, more and better!
The XII Medes Islands by Zoggs will be held on October 24 at L'Estartit. As we already know, Neda el Món Illes Medes by ZOGGS allocates 100% of the profits each year to the TV3 Marathon, this year dedicated to raising funds for mental health.

The Strait of Bonifacio is the sea channel that separates the island of Corsica (France) from the island of Sardinia (Italy) and connects the Tyrrhenian Sea with the western part of the Mediterranean Sea (the Italians call this sector "sea of Sardinia"). It is about 11 km wide and about 100 meters deep.
As the Strait of Gibraltar, the Strait of Bonifacio has become one of the great challenges for open water swimmers in recent years.
And as with the Strait of Gibraltar, Neda el Món makes available to the swimmer all its knowledge about the great challenges in open water and it will be responsible for everything: informing and advising the swimmer, training planning 6 months before the challenge, follow-up of these trainings, including one face-to-face session per month in Barcelona, and all the logistics and operations during the week of the event in Sardinia.
The crossing of the Strait of Bonifacio with Neda el Món guarantees a spot to cross the Strait of Gibraltar with Neda el Món the following year. If you also have this goal and want to join the group of Neda el Món that will cross Bonifacio, click here to know all the details of the challenge.
