We are working on the fourth edition of the Neda el Món Training Camp!
During the three days of the Training Camp, we will try to find some norms which allow the swimmers to learn how to improve their specific techniques as well as their physical condition. We will try to get as close as possible to reach their personal aims for the 2017 season. In order to improve their performance, we will also have a look at other important aspects of preparation for such a challenge, like injury prevention and specific nutrition.

The 1st Neda el Món Swimrun Barcelona by Wetness that will take place next November 20 between Cabrera de Mar (Castle of Burriac) and Badalona (Petroleum Bridge ), will also be the 1st Spanish Swimrun Championship!
The 1st swimrun in the Catalan capital will have three distances to choose from, of 32.8 km, 21.4 km and 11.9 km. The distances that will crown the first Spanish Swimrun Champions will be 32.8 km, with 27.5 km running and 5.2 km swimming.
The categories that fall into the Championship of Spain are male, female and mixed couples.

Alex was a marine biologist and technical in the Natural Park of Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter, as well as terrestrial and underwater nature photographer. From the very beginning Alex believed in this swim project and actively participated in the first two editions.

Eight months after the agreement signed between Neda el Món and Wetness we love to see how their sports project keeps growing every day to get to more and more swim addicts.
Wetness was launched a year ago as a brand specialized in aquatic activities, with programs designed to harness the full potential of the aquatic environment, both in the training and health as physical performance, a ground where there's still much to explore. It is divided into three categories: wetness academy, wetness health and wetness training, aimed at different profiles of people with a common element, be water fans.

The Neda el Món Club goes a step further when it comes to adapt to your specific needs as a swimmer, that is why we offer the possibility to enjoy customized training sessions designed exclusively for you.
Either in preparation for a particular challenge, for an overall improvement in your skills or just to get in shape again after a period of inactivity, these personalized sessions will help you achieve your goals.
The 2-hour long training sessions will take place in Barceloneta beach. There is also the chance to hold them outside Barcelona if transport costs are covered. If you want to train in a swimming pool, the venue could be the club your are a member at or the Hospitalet Centre sports complex.

Swimrun is a new sporting discipline for a team of two people in which multiple running tracks are combined with multiple open water swimming sections, one after the other without interruptions. In the Northern countries, swimrun has become very popular since 2005, and Neda el Món wanted to bring it to Barcelona.
